I hope you're well. Just for information... new version of MCplayer was released: 1.5.6b. The main feature is possibility to give MC address from command line. Why? The MC6850 hasn't hardware reset and shall be initialized before using. Unfortunately on the same address page we may have more than one device, so it's not so good idea to touching other registers than MC have. In case, autonegotiation can be disabled by using key /A for example: MCP.COM /AD580 forcing play on $D580. I attached new software for your convenience . Any question? Let me know!

Hi Pancio, I am sorry that I have not given any feedback on the MIDIcar so far :( ! This is because I would like to take a lot of time for experimenting, but so far I only had a small window of time for ATARI. So don't think that I'm not interested!
Hope, I will be able to do it this week or at the latest at the weekend, to deal with it intensively!

I found the bug which was responsible for bad working with SIDEx, AVGCART and IDE+. If you want to solve the problem, you should cut one wiring between RD5 and RD4 on PCB. I shown it on attached pictures. I don't remember which revision you have... but the solution is the same for all revisions.
